Our team

The mission of BIODEQ is to re-engineer the processing approach for traditional oilseed products, aiming to provide consumers with a wide variety of healthy and nutritious options, while creating innovative food solutions and supporting environmental sustainability.

We believe in practical science and engineering expertise, which is why we thrive in challenging projects—often, the simplest solution is the best one! None of this would be possible without a great team.

We established BIODEQ in 2020 with a focus on developing a high-protein product (containing more than 45%) from sunflower and rapeseed meal for poultry feeding.

BIODEQ is a privately owned independent company, founded in Russia aiming at the European market. We are solely financed by our own private capital.

We intend to move our R&D group and pilot production to Austria in 2023 as part of our continued business in Europe.

Alexander Fomin

Co-founder & Head of R&D

Forty years of experience in developing innovative processes for food and material treatment based on unique physical solutions. Author of patented solutions for companies from USA and Austria. 20 years of experience in protein components development . PhD in physics.

Evgeniy Larin

Chief Designer

Decades of design and production of non-standard equipment and machinery for energy, food, electrotechnical and automotive industries. Chief designer of complex technology, machines and tooling for the ITER Project (France)

Svetlana Livinskaya

Expert in Oil Production processes

Retired after thirty years of experience working with projects for oil plants production, specializing in technology and process development.
